Sony

In 1946, Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo K.K. (Tokyo Telecommunications Engineering Corporation, the predecessor of Sony Group Corporation) started as a small company with capital of just 190,000 yen and approximately 20 employees. From the outset the company has release countless pioneering products, starting with Sony's introduction of Japan's first portable transistor radio in 1955.

Alongside consumer devices such as TV and video, cameras, and game consoles, Sony has introduced various professional audio equipment such as microphones, DATs, MTRs, and effectors, garnering the trust of numerous musicians and engineers as a manufacturer with a distinct presence in the music industry.
